No matter what they do to us, we must always act for the love of our people and the earth. We must not react out of hatred against those who have no sense. ~ John Trudell

I have been having a hard time deciding what to write about. The world is truly upside down and inside out. How does a person carry on with life when so many are being denied their right to live? Im grappling with that. For me and many others art is so very important for our mental health.

Art and beauty is important. Thats the thing isnt it? I guess that is what Im focusing on in these times, look for the beauty in life. Those sunset moments. When you hear a baby laugh. The first bite of a really good cookie. Whatever gives you that boost of postive energy. In the end we are all human beings trying to do the best we can.

Im settling in nicley at The Whiskey Creek Zocalo. Its been about a month now. I've met some really remarkable people and animals. Today I met Octavio the official Zocalo rooster. What a fine rooster he is too! Raf was kind enough to hold him while a gave him a stroke. He was so soft and wonderful! Beautiful golden eyes. Lovely creature. This is the first time I've ever really been around farm animals and I have to say its so much fun!

Not quite ready to pick him up by myself but we'll see! I've made earrings out of the long thin feathers and also the spurs of a rooster. Don't worry Octavio I wont pluck your feathers!

Its been really fun restocking my studio. I wasnt planning on having a retail space again but I guess the universe had other plans for me. For now anyways. Im really enjoying being a part of the Zocalo as well. Helping where I can. Its such a great space and wonderful people as well.

Here are some of my offerings for this month. Im doing mostly one of a kind pieces these days. You can find these and many more on my website shop.

Something alittle different this time. Clair De Lune. Until next time.
