Resilient
~ Able to recover readily, as from misfortune.
~ Able to endure tribulation without cracking
I like the second description. Anyways..... Hello old friends. Its been awhile. After much research and fiddling around with different ideas Im back to my original website.

I've been back in New Mexico now for a little over a year. Many things have happened , good and bad. I was pretty burnt out by the time we made it back to New Mexico but slowly I have come back to life. Alot of introspection, and deciding what I really want. I suppose everyone goes through this phase at one point or another. So what's the plan ?

Well, Im going back to my roots. I was always a traveler. I dont use the term Gypsy anymore as I've learned its a very insulting thing to call people. It was used as a slur, similar to the N word.
A few months ago I purchased a very old somewhat forgotten motorhome. She had been, hows that old saying go, road hard and put away wet. ...She is a 1992 Fleetwood Jamboree class c motorhome..
I started by sealing every little nook and cranny outside to stop the water damage. Then started on the inside. At first I was a little nervous but let go of my fear of failure and went for it. Andy tore out all the rotted wood and created a beautiful wood floor area above the cab. I pulled out the toilet and added a compost toilet. The next is getting it set up for solar. Step by step. I have always believed in recycling and have always wanted an unusual rig, bus, wagon. Now we have Mystic. We named her after one of my favorite songs, "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison. Yes I name my vehichles.....

My plan is to have a very easy pop up display to take to small gatherings across the west. Farmers markets, sales, nothing big or fancy. I've been repurposing some old suitcases to use. Even if we are just hanging out I'll be able to break out my wares for folks. Once Im finished designing Ill post pictures of my booth display.

I'll also have things avaiable on my website shop, www.ginnywolf.com Please note that its ginnywolf not ginnywolfstudio. The website shop accepts Square and Paypal as payments. I will also have my work avaiable in Deadwood as well as Silver City & Austin ,Texas Contacts for all of these are on my about page.

For years I have been either staying to a particular medium ie. jewelry to do art shows, then production work to keep up with a gallery. Now I am free to do whatever I want. Its very exciting, the possibilities. I will still make plenty of jewelry, now I'm free to do what my heart tells me.

This winter we will be heading west to Arizona for Schooliepolooza in Quartzite. It will be fun to see what people have done and maybe get some ideas for Mystic.
Then the gem show and finally Wintercount. From the website www.wintercountocamp.com.
Founded by Dave and Paula Wescott in 1995, Winter Count has become one of the preeminent primitive skills conferences, with a reputation for the high quality of its instructors and its small class sizes. This annual event was started for instructors and others in the fields of primitive living, experimental archeology, and outdoor survival to spend time with peers—sharing their knowledge and skills, and having a good time.
This has been on my bucket list for many years. Im excited to learn how to tan hides and possibly knap obsidian blades. It will be fun to see how it effects the creations I make.

In the mean time I am going to be participating in 2 local events. One out in the MImbres and one here in Silver City. Ill have a special post for both when we get closer.

Well this post is a short one. Just wanted to get the word out. I will be trying to have new listings on the shop once a week, hopefully on Sundays. Im not posting Youtube music right now. I need to make sure Im not breaking any copyright laws..... So there you have it. Please be sure to subscribe or follow me on Intagram or Facebook . Its good to be back!
